The Story
Big Spence’s is me. It’s my taste, my experience, and my take on what a sandwich spot should be.
All my life I’ve been into sandwiches. Not just deli meat—everything. Hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, anything in between bread. There’s just something about it. It’s simple, it’s real, and when it’s done right, it hits every time.
I grew up working in my family’s spot, Sabrina's Café. Over the years, I did a little bit of everything—serving, prep, managing. Being that hands-on showed me what actually matters: consistency, quality, and making food people genuinely enjoy. That’s where I found my lane.
But the idea for Big Spence’s really came from real life.
Late nights, getting back from the city, or just finishing a long shift—the question was always the same:
What am I about to eat?
And it’s always the same answers. Pizza spots, fast food, whatever’s still open. It gets old. There’s nothing wrong with it—but it’s not exciting, and it’s definitely not built around sandwiches.
And that never made sense to me.
Because a sandwich, done right, can be just as satisfying—if not better. Something hot, loaded, flavorful, and actually worth it.
That’s what Big Spence’s is.
This isn’t just a sandwich spot. It’s built for real life—for late nights, long days, after work, or whenever you just want something quick that still feels like quality. It’s food you crave, not just settle for.
Everything I put on the menu is something I’d actually want to eat. Big flavors, real portions, and combinations that make sense. Whether it’s a fire chicken parm, a chopped cheese, or something different, it all comes back to the same idea—keep it simple, but make it hit.
At the end of the day, this is what I’m passionate about. Taking something as simple as a sandwich and doing it the right way. No shortcuts, no overthinking—just good food that speaks for itself.
